Comparison of horseshoe earrings. 4g vs 0g. When I first got the 4g ones, I remember thinking “these are huge”. Now these seem small.
Universal Trust
I put my future in the hands of the universe. I have no idea what it has planned for me, but I do know its not what I have been doing. Tomorrow again holds the promise of unknown.
I am reminded of when I crashed my car 13 years ago. At the point where I realized I had lost control, I let go of the wheel, relaxed into my seat, and let the universe unfold before me with its own free will.
This I do again.
Ear Expanding Advice
I learned this lesson when I went from 6 to 4 gauge ear piercings, but apparently forgot it:
Once you’ve stretched your ears, let the plugs in for at least 3-5 days before thinking about swapping them. I just tried to put in a screw-tunnel on my freshly 0 gauged ears. Ouch. For the record 0g hurt by far the most of any stages.

Holy shit. Thank god for automatic backups. Adobe Flex just deleted the entire content of my main web folder, killing my main site files back to 1997. 17.2 gig worth of HTML and flash files…. holy shit.

Bible Code
Just caught the end of a show on Discovery about the “Bible Code”. Really? I’ve seen it before, and am familiar with the idea that some people think there are “codes” hidden in the bible by searching letters at even intervals.
Really? Except when asked to use it to show anything in the future, they all flummoxed and blabbered about how you don’t know what to look for in the future so it’s impossible.
Really?
I want to meet these people that really believe in this garbage. They should visit Bible Land, where man and dinosaurs walk together.
Oh well.
